Update on court resurfacing

Following the resurfacing of the courts a few months ago, the committee has been waiting for Tennis Wales to carry out an assessment of the work done before we paint the courts to complete the project.

This assessment was carried out on Monday 9 July and we are waiting for the report from the assessor which should be made available to us within 2-3 weeks.

We are trying to improve the drainage of the courts, which in the first year after resurfacing will hold more surface water than is usual due to the oil in the tarmac slowing down drainage.

We will of course keep you posted on developments in the coming weeks.
