SPANISH TITLE FOR CHRIS HILL

Congratulations to head coach, Chris Hill, on his latest tournament win at the Marbella Open in Spain, which is likely to propel him into the world's top 50 in his age group.

Going into the event as top seed, Chris endured a tough quarter-final against Spanish opposition before his experience came through in a tough final tie-break. In the semi-final Chris' opponent was unable to take to the court due to injury, which saw Chris throught to the final in which he played a player from Rafael Nadal's club in Mallorca.

The first set saw Chris play his best tennis of the week, running out with a 6-0 scoreline. The second set saw a fightback from his Spanish opponent, before Chris stepped up a gear to record a 6-3 second set win and take the title.

This is Chris' third international title of the year, having won events in Mallorca, Spain, and Le Touquet, France, earlier in the year.
