Update on resurfacing work
Dear Everyone
Tarmac has now been laid on both courts. We now have to wait 3 weeks for the surface to settle and harden, before temporary court markings are painted on it.
As mentioned in previous e-mails, we expect the colour coating of the courts to take place around Easter next year, thus giving us time to ensure that the courts drain properly.
The committee is hopeful, therefore, that the courts will return to use for the weekend of 13/14 September, after which a full social and coaching programme will restart.
I will send out a further update to you the week beginning Monday 8 September.
