Annual tournament between Crickhowell Tennis club and Christ College

The first of what is to be become a regular annual tournament between Crickhowell Tennis Club and Christ College took place in June in Brecon. The competition featured eighteen players in each team, representing all mini and junior age groups in both boys’, girls’ and mixed categories. A gloriously warm and sunny afternoon brought out a large crowd who watched a very high standard of tennis, with Crickhowell coming through in the end to win by 6 matches overall. Players from both teams are coached by Welsh international Chris Hill, the head coach at Crickhowell Tennis Club, who was delighted to watch his pupils perform at such a high level.

Crickhowell Tennis Club provided a trophy which will be presented to the winning team each year. Pictured are Mr Grant Wolstenholme from Christ College and Jeremy Kerrison, Chairman of Crickhowell Tennis Club, along with players from both teams.
